Dear St. Mary and Sacred Heart family,
I hope and pray you are well. On the back of this page you will find the report of the annual parish finance statement and budget for the July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020 fiscal year. The last few months have been challenging because of the Covid-19 restrictions. As a result of that challenge, our revenue finished below that which was budgeted.
Below you will see a breakdown of revenue (St. Mary’s):
• Envelopes were (plus) + $9,000
• Loose Collection (mainly visitors) were (negative) - $15,000.
• A couple of generous bequests helped make up the difference.
Below is a breakdown of some of the expenses (St. Mary’s):
• Improvements to the facilities
1. new hymnals
2. seat cushions
3. floors (Mary room and choir loft)
4. boiler in the church
5. security cameras
6. contributed to St. Mary’s school building repairs
A good amount of these expenses were covered with the bequests. As a result, we were able to meet our budget. I am very thankful to Fr. Sebastian for taking responsibility for these projects. He, with your help, has our facilities in great condition, and has made the transition for me much easier.
All circumstances considered, we remain financially stable. Thank you so much for your generosity! Going forward, we appreciate your continued support of St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart as we strive to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel, namely, Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
